It is possible to disconnect an extender?

Let say I install an extender on my kid room, and i don't want him to use it after certain hour or certain time. Is there any way to kill that extender specifically, and leave the others working?

There was someone who made a plugin for v6. That turned off extenders if they were left on xx hours xx minutes. I'm not sure if it disabled them. I will see if I can find it.

I saw that plug in, it was for like auto shut down the extender if no one is using it, what i'm looking for is a kind of parental control that allows me to simply block the extender whenever i like from the server and not the extender per se.

You could ask the author to see if he could make that possible.

The other option, if it's going through your router, you could make it so a certain time you could omit it (ip address or mac address) access to your network.

You have physical control over your LAN, right? Just unplug the extender from the switch.

That said, this sounds more like a discipline problem than a technical problem. If the kid won't stick to your rules for when he's allowed to watch TV, then he doesn't get to have a TV in his room.

Our you can limit the mac activity...but I like the idea of unplugging it from the router.
