SageTVClient Disconnect Cause Found!
The last few nights I noticed that I received a disconnect on my SageTVClient at around 8:08 PM. This seemed oddly 24 Hour.
I went to my SageTV ( Server ) machine and checked the system information. Sure enough it had just done an EPG guide update. This happens in the latest Released version of SageTV Software. I would think that SageTV would either have been scheduling this for the middle of the night or at a user selectable time. Another alternative is to figure out if the problem is an overly aggressive EPG update thread that is starving the client communication thread from providing data to the Client with data. I do not believe the problem is my network since I am running all 100MB Full duplex. Any one else seen Disconnects happen on a client when an EPG update happens? Is there some way to set the EPG to update at a specific time? Thanks, John
