Online services can play some media but search cannot find it

Online services can play audio only podcasts.

But it seems it cannot search for them because the online video search filters out the rss items:

Thu 1/20 8:05:19.132 [ReProcessHook@c91438] Filtering out RSSItem because it is Not MPEG4, FLV or AVI file type.

Does anyone know if this restriction is configurable?

Michael

I made a note to look into that.

This is in a Google Video search, right? Can you give me an example search that results in audio-only items?

Its not google or youtube.

I have written custom online service UIText and Links files which provide search on a custom source I have added.

(Customisable onlines sources are fantastic by the way - and I was amazed I could write my own search facility with config change only!)

My custom source contains podcasts where the media is audio.

How are these custom feeds defined, then? If it is podcast based, the source needs to start with xPodcast -- if nothing else matches, it will be considered a Google Video link.

Thank you!

That was the hint I needed.

I changed my source name from xMyPodcasts to xPodcastMyPodcasts and my search subcategory now works.
