Good Audio / No Video on Online Services
All my Sage, WMV and DIVX archived videos play fine. I can't seem to get any of the new online services video to play within sage. I have tried every variation of VMR9/Overlay, DirectShow/SagePlayer, Overlay Coler Keying on/off, Full Screen Exclusive mode on/off, ect... When in VMR9 the UI stutters all over the screen durring Online Services video playback like the shrinking animation is stuck but the audio plays just fine. The UI is stable with only a black background screen in Overlay mode. I can play both Google video and Youtube in a browser as well as streaming wmv on the same machine. I assume this is an Mpeg4 issue, what might I be missing.
This was all working on 6.3 when I initially upgraded this machine from 6.2.8 last week. I rebuilt the OS, XP sp2 with all latest updates and restored all my drivers for the various hardware since it hadn't been freshened up since Sage 2.1. I initially had a tearing/pixelization issue with all normal video on the initial default installation of Sage with VMR9 and DXVA enabled which was corrected by enabling the DScaler Deinterlacer (normal?). I have Intervideo Non CSS decoders installed with my DVD Rom drivers and have additionally added Nvidia PureVideo decoders. I also upped to WMP 11 just for good measure and Divx codex (which I needed for my archived movies) when I found that Online Services video would not play back anymore. I also upgraded to Java 1.6 but nothing seemed to change. Thoughts? Last note, I did have all of it working for 5 minutes last night when running through all the premutations of various settings... but Sage locked up and had to be restarted. After that, it returned to the previous stable state but without Online Services video, even when running the same settings. Thanks for your help, I hope I've overlooked something easy! The few 'extra content' shows I've tried to watch have played on the HD100, but no audio. Google and Youtube audio has worked on the ones I've tried.
