Moving remote codes and or best remote to use
I'm going to put a new client into service in a day or so and wanted remote control opinions.
I've used the MCE remote in the past, but it seems like the Hauppauge remote that comes with the extender has more buttons programed. Is it possible to lift those codes out of a properties file and put them into the clients file so I could use the Hauppauge remote with a USB UIRT without having to teach the client all of those commands? As I understand it, I'd have to have a Happauge card in the computer in order to use their receiver and their codes directly. Is that correct? Your opinions are appreciated, Mike |
