DVD-ROM playback method produces excellent results

Ok here is my latest experiment; and forgive me if somebody else is doing this because I couldn't find it posted anywhere. Prerequisites are that you are running Anydvd(HD) for on the fly drive decryption.

I had been trying to establish optical media based DVD playback on my HD-300 and found some success navigating to the video_ts structure and playing it, but WAF was very low.

So I went into disk manager, added a new drive letter for my BD-ROM drive and created a new empty NTFS folder in my \movies\DVDsfolder called "dvd drive".

Sage understands that subfolders in the DVDs folder will be the name of the program, so on my HD-300 I go to videos and then dvd/bd and select the movie called dvd drive.

No media refresh needed when you insert a new disc... just nav to the right "movie title" and play.
