HD-PVR/Dish Settings?
My Dish setup appears to lose signal, for just a fraction of a second, at least once in any movie, regardless of channel. It may be weather related, as it is now winter here, and this problem just started a couple of months ago. When watching TV directly, the signal loss is so slight as to barely be perceptible. When recording through Sage/HD-PVR, however, there appears to be a much more pronounced loss - the original fraction of a second plus a second or two or three for the recording to "get back on track." Has anyone experienced anything like this? Are there any parameters to tweak in Sage that may help with this? The minimal, Dish-caused signal loss is barely noticeable and tolerable. The longer signal loss is clearly noticable and is not. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

My first thought would be to make sure you're using the latest drivers for the HD-PVR. I updated mine last night for a different reason when I noticed the latest were from July/2010. Not sure it would make a difference or not for you, but it's the first thing I check when I start having problem with my HD-PVR.

I haven't noticed anything like that with my setup, but it probably is signal related. I second the idea of reaiming the dish. It is easy to do through the settings menu. Well, it is easier with two people so you don't have to run back and forth from the TV to the dish, but it isn't technically hard.
