HD300 remote control setup code?
I just got the HD300, and I'm very impressed. It is the first time I've ever seen SageTV provide smooth video.

I've been using the remote provided, but I'd prefer to not add another to my collection. I'd like to incorporate the HD300 remote codes into my customized remote control (JP1 based). I searched the forums at www.hifi-remote.com for "HD300" but nothing comes up at all.

Has anybody figured out what the "Setup Code" is for the HD300 remote?
The setup code is the "protocol" that the remote communicates over IR.
Is there a way that I can discover the setup code?

I found "Upgrade for the SageTV STX-HD100 media extender" dated 2007. The remote for the HD100:

looks very similar to the remote for the HD300:

Can anyone confirm if they use the same codes?

HD300 extender with (2020 New Build) SageTV 64 bit V9.2.2.903 (service mode), Running on Windows 10 (64 bit), Intel Core i7-10700K CPU, 16G RAM, GIGABYTE Z490 UD motherboard. NVidia GTX1650 Super; Viewsonic LCD on one output and Mitsubishi WD57734 HDTV via DVI/HDMI on other output. HDHomeRun HDHR5-4US tuner, Hauppauge "Siena" 1512 HD-PVR2 connected to Cisco Cable modem from Spectrum, tuned with USB-UIRT.

I have a sony universal remote control and I lost the Code sheet. Does anyone know where I can find universal remote codes? My controller model is RM-V401
