Starting over with a fresh install of Sage help

I've been having issues with my SageTV installation where it crashes, or has a stop in playback where it will stop playing video but keep playing audio, and if I stop the video and then go back in to it, Sage just shows the progress bar at the very beginning and it never plays the video, just shows a black screen. I've been having this issue for awhile, and tried switching hardware, and even did a complete fresh OS install where I had nothing other than the OS, HD-PVR drivers, and Sage and I still had the issue. The only thing I can think of that was common between the different setups I had where I still had the same problem was my sageTV bin files and settings files. So I want to do a complete wipe of the system and start fresh with SageTV without moving over any settings. I don't mind setting everything up again, but I want to keep my recordings that are already recorded. Is there a way to do this? I checked the "FAQ: How to move files, change recording dirs, etc." but all the answers in there are based around keeping your existing files, and I want to wipe everything but the actual recordings themselves.

Thanks.

Sounds like an error I was having. For me, disabling the Sage splitter and using Haali worked.

Here:

set HKLM\Software\Frey Technologies\Common\DirectShow\EnableSageTVStreamDemux=0

Hope this helps.
