channel tuning

This problem is with channel tuning when staying on the same channel. I have "Always tune channel" off. The odd part is it only tunes the channel on the hour...Not on the half hour.

Any ideas?

I'm not clear on what your problem is. You have "Always tune channel" turned off, so it doesn't always tune the channel. What do you think it should be doing instead?

I have "Always tune channel" set to off. By doing so I expect it to do what it is supposed to do and not tune the channel unless the channel changes.

For instance if I keep it, let's say, channel 10. I expect it to not try and tune that channel again until I move to another channel number but, it does. But only on the hour.

By that I mean, for instance, I tune to channel 10 at 1pm, at 1:30 it does not "tune the channel" but at 2pm it does. Then at 2:30 it doesn't tune but at 3pm it will....and so on

Not sure why this is happening but thought I would inquire
