Pre-buy questions about HD300

I am enjoying using SageTV MC and thinking about the extender. Will it be able to function exactly as MC does on my PC?

Can I have all of my same plugins and will they function the same? What functionality will I lose?

I could just leave sage on my second monitor output to my TV but I am looking to cut down on the processing load on my CPU. But I am not willing to sacrifice the customization and setup I have put into my regular install.

The dealbreakers would be if Hulu/Playon functionality is compromised or crippled and/or if ripped VOBs in the video_ts folder structure would not play.

My biggest CPU hog is playon's transcoding so offloading the actual video rendering would be a bonus.

I think it should perform pretty much the same. I'm not sure about ISOs.

I only use extenders and am completely happy.

If you were more explicit about the plugins you used, you could get more guidance.

The HD300 plays Hulu just fine using the Playon plugin. I've used it a few times.

As far as playback of DVD rips, it plays them back perfectly, but then again so did the MediaMVP so this really isn't anything new.

Best part is the simplistic Blu-Ray Rip playback (without menus of course).
