I sent them an email and received a response today. I would expect a flood of UPS emails tonight.

I also contacted them to confirm and to get my tracking #, Mine was supposed to ship on 2/16 with about 50 other orders I believe, but mine didn't make it out til 2/17 since I responded to them so late. So mine is due on Monday according to my tracking #. Some of you guys might get it today. Otherwise look for next week. But unless Sage makes the new beta available this weekend, you won't be using it anyways..

Looks like they have the colossus page up, but not the beta drivers yet.

Would love for you to share SHS. At least we could get installed in prep for sagetv beta release.

Got reply (Friday Feb 18, 2011) from them in reply to my email (Wednesday Feb 16, 2011) with tracking number and estimated delivery of Tuesday Feb 22, 2011. My order # was 62843. They still have one of the best customer service departments for a hardware company I've found.

+1 for me.... just read about this card tonight (working late). Where have I been, in a hole?

One of my biggest questions, will this card tune faster than the HDPVR?

Pro - non usb, lack of external power, hopefully won't need a bounce once a month.

just a few of my initial thoughts.

I received my Colossus (two of them) Friday around noon. They come in OEM brown boxes with all cables + a high quality (and pretty long) component cable.

Capturing through the included Arcsoft Showbiz is great but so far no luck in Media Center or SageTV. Media Center gets stuck at Channel Scan when using the HD-PVR MCE beta drivers (as suggested by Hauppauge).

In SageTV, you can select Colossus in Add New Source, then you have -strangely- 8 possible inputs to choose from: Component, Component_2, Somponent+SPDIF, Component+SPDIF_2, Composite, Composite_2, S-Video and S-Video_2. Selecting any of them hangs SageTV in the "Please wait for the video preview to load." With some of the inputs I get "There was a Capture Error in playback. Details: ERROR (-5,0x80040207): There was a problem setting up software video compression."

I'll keep playing with it. I'm using the same drivers that are up in Hauppauge's FTP site. 02/15/2011 1.0.29046.0
