HD300 Remote alternative
HELP!!!
I went on vacation and brought along the HD300 to play with from my home server and show off. Problem is I forgot the remote. Any way to get remote codes or something so I can use a universal remote with it??? DOOH!!!

you can also (i believe) use an MCE remote (once you configure it to accept those codes... which you should be able to do with a usb keyboard).

Try the usb keyboard, on my Lenovo mini keyboard even the track ball works. Then you can use any IR remote by teaching the HD300 the new codes in the detailed setup menu at least it worked on mine.

Thanks for all the advice, but I could do nothing. I was in a hotel room with what I thought was a ethernet connection, but it was a 10 mbps hook up or WiFi that I do not have a dongle to support.
Oh well, thanks though.
