No music Audio and Video is small for SageClient
Hello, thanks in advance for any advice.
I have a sage server in the basement and a client running in the kitchen. I also have a HD300 running the main TV. I have recently upgraded everythign to V7, including the Client. My problem is that now the music will not play on the client and the video only shows very small. The other devices in the house work as expected. Audio: Pick any song and play it. The file plays as if normal, but no sound comes out. Play the same file from Media Player and it is fine. Video: Pick a recording or movie and the video only covers about 1/2 the screen. Right click and changing the aspect does nothing... I think the first and possibly both are codec problems??? I have installed several different versions of free codecs, including CCCP and XP Codec Pack and they don't make any difference. Anyone know how I can fix this? Did you advertently set your client to use PAL instead of NTSC?

I certainly didn't purposefully make that change... Where is that setting?

The video problem I am having seems to be the same as another thread just posted where the video will not 'fill' the screen. I still have the music audio problem as well.
- So the music looks like it's playing, but no sound comes out even though it plays perfectly in WMP. - All videos (TV and recordings) will not 'fill' the screen or change size in anyway, even though they all play perfectly well on the other devices in the house. Any other ideas? |

To close out the thread:
Well, I reloaded everything and it works now. Took everything off except the OS... reloaded drivers, reloaded codecs, and reloaded the SageClient. Seems to be working now. Not sure why it was not working the first time, as I had not changed anything... |
