I have the same problem as Biggen with a 2250 card and a 1600 card using sage tv 7.1.7 beta recording over the air shows .
I did not notice this problem with 7.1.5 beta but did update my coreavc driver when I updated to 7.1.7. I thought it was due to me using the computer while it was recording but i left it alone to record and it is still giving me microfreezes. Trallyus |

I had the same issue as well, it turned out to be the multispeed ffw/rw plugin. Disabling that resolved my issue.

Yeah, I don't have that plugin installed so that doesn't affect me.
To be fair, I haven't had time to watch a recording that was done with 7.1.17 yet. All my recordings were done on 7.1.16 and then watched after I updated to the new beta. So it is possible that may have had something to do with it. Hopefully we will be able to watch something that was recorded on 7.1.17 tonight and see if that changes anything. |

Any fix for this. I didn't see this problem when on WHS but recently moved to W7 64-bit and I get the issue on DVD playback only. Any ideas.

Bouncing this up as I'm getting this once in awhile on HDHR and quite frequently (10-13 minutes, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer) with Colossus.
Additionally, playing a DVD in the drive through SageTV I see some instances at about the same rate of slightly slow / jerky motion. Was any solution found? |

I fixed mine but I cannot say what it was. I changed my harddrives to SSD, reinstalled Windows (to Windows 8), added 2 more GB RAM, switched it all to use FlexRaid, and upped my java heap significantly. But otherwise everything stayed the same as far as Sage config, plugins, etc.
