For those of you using Haali splitter in sageTV how do you decode DTS-MA in sagetv?
In order to get pretty much all my h.264/x.264 movies to playback correctly, I had to get sageTV to use my trustworth splitter Haali along with coreavc2.0/ac3filter with hardware acceleration. The problem is, now I cant take advantage of sageTV's ability to convert DTS-MA to ac3. I get stuttered audio/video or the video wont play at all. As soon as I switch the audio track to an ac3 track (if available) the stutering goes away. I would prefer to be able to play dts-ma as ac3 on my PC based sageTV client since I have an extender already in the living room with an audio receiver that decodes dts-ma, and everything else under the sun jus fine.
So how dou guys playback dts-ma in real-time as ac3 using software outside of sageTV in a directshow player or how do you do it in sageTV using the haaili splitter? Is there an audio filter like ac3filter that just converts dtsma in realtime?

I'm trying to figure this out right now...if it's even possible. I don't bit stream. I wouldn't care so much, if Sage reliably output the *English* version of the core...but habla espanol is currently required. I have TMT3 installed (I own it) and have a checkactivate.dll that allows the use of the filters in Direct Show...so you would *think* decoding DTS-MA to PCM was possible...just like the AcSoft player does...but nope. I can't even get audio out of GraphStudio.

The problem isnt the audio decoder. It's Haali itself. According to AVSForum and Doom9, its not currently possible to do DTS-MA in an MKV. I know there the #1 complaint to the haali developers right now is the known stuttering issue with DTS-MA. I use my HD-200 hooked up to my audio amplifier which decodes DTS-MA/TrueHD and anything else I can throw at it for this kind of stuff.

Understood, but my *main* viewing is done on a client/server pc under the TV...I'm typing this on it right now...with Nikita in a window I have extenders, but prefer the pc...everything looks crisper and is faster, to me.
