Does HD300 HDMI out connected to DVI Work?

Just got an HD300 and gave setting it up a quick try...

Does anyone know if the HD300 HDMI out works with an HDI to DVI adapter?

My TV only has DVI input that worked fine with the HD100. But even after pressing the video out button many time I dont even get a flicker on the TV.

Could it be the output resolution on the HDMI connection? The TV only does upto 720p, anything higher is just ignored.

I need to move the TV so I can get at the svideo connection, but cant do that until the weekend (Dont think it has a composite input). I was expecting the breakout cable to have sockets rather than plugs!

I only got it working with DVI after I enabled the option "Force HDMI output" in the detailed settings. (Had to connect it to another TV set to do that.)

ditto here. I submitted a support request on mine last month because of this actually. The force hdmi option wasn't working quite right tlll the oct 5th firmware. Since then I've been able to get mine to sync at 1080i and 1080p to the dvi in of my tv.

I am using an HDMI to DVI box, with a DVI to Component cable.
It appears that the HDMI output has a much better picture the the direct component out.
