[PLUGIN] Fuzzy's Malore Tweaks

This is the start of a collection of tweaks to the Malore Menus that I've been scheming/working on. For starters, it contains just two Phoenix Fanart related tweaks, which are to use Phoenix Banners in the Show List (left pane), and remove the large banner from the Description pane. My intentions are to continue to add tweaks here and there (all enablable/disablable) as i develop them.

Heh.. I don't yet. That's another tweak I'm working on. (I'm planning on improving the filtering options a bit - though don't count on it happening too soon... ;-))

Fuzzy, I'm not sure how long youve been active the sageTV forums, but you might remember that I was a very big fan of Malore menus 5 or so years ago since I was using the standard SageTV STV interface; and it came builtin. I was amazed at the filtering and customization capabilities for malore menus. Since there wasn't sageMC, I was able to do things such as upcoming movies in "HD"; which was great.

I've been paying close attention to your addons lately "dressing up" malore menu; and have to say, I really like what I see in the pictures. You actually brought it back to life.

Do you mind sharing more pictures of fanart/banner addons to malore menus? Maybe somthing different than the kids category or show multiple categories? I can't tell from the pictures if your new visual enhancement show movies, news, talk shows, kids shows to use the new sageTV 7 guide coloring standards or not. Anyway, right on for your continued effort to turn malore menus into something that looks seemless to sageTV 7 native components. Keep up the good work.

this doesn't do much other than use a banner for the titles if a banner exists. Not really sure how it would apply to movies, as there really aren't 'movie' banners out there. (tmdb.org only hosts backdrops, and posters.) If a show doens't have a banner, it still shows just the text title (though I did center the title a bit to make it line up with the banners more). Grouping by something other than title right now would result in just text, as I haven't found/created any banners for categories worth using yet (though I think if you DO make some, this would probably bring them in. (actually, now that I think about it, it may bring in the banner for the top show in the category.. i'll have to play around with that a bit).

Relatively minor update 0.5.9 adds local caching of the banner images. (This drastically speeds up banner display when using remote (UNC) fanart locations). Will still be 'slow' the first time a banner is displayed, but from then on out, they will be pulled from local cache.
