I apologize there is a syntax error in that so it wouldn't build probably.

but the output would be the same as what is shown.

In other words, it's being renamed.

My guess is that the update requests were getting old, so he threw that response out there. But, he may have put a little thought into the post to throw us off.

At least, that's my hope, since I'd hate to find out it may actually be a dead project entirely.

Or he is releasing it at night. Or its already out.

Or, more than likely, he is following the developer rule of thumb:

"For each day some asks for a release update, add 2 days to the release date"

So, whether it's called Ploxee, or Diamond, or Ortus, or PluckyIsDaMan, I just have one simple question. I would like my main menu to contain the following items:

*Recorded TV <------------(self-explanatory)
*Upcoming Recording Schedule <------------(self-explanatory)
*(Mom and Dad)'s DVDs <------------(straight to my DVDs, some view of my choice, either flow or wall or else by genre folder)
*(Kid)'s Movies DVDs <------------(straight to a view of my kid's DVDs)
*Online <------------(contains links to PlayOn, youtube, weather, etc., as with default)
*Media <------------(contains links to Music, Photos, videos, etc., as well as the rest of the subtopics currently under TV, such as "search" and "manage favorites" and "schedule recording" and the like)
*Setup <------------(default)

Could this be achieved in Ploxee/Diamond/whatever?

I think you guys are letting your imaginations get way way ahead of yourself. I simply stated PloxeeTV will not see the light of day meaning as of current it is dead and no longer being coded on or finished. I have reasons and right now I don't have a answer as to what will replace it, if anything.

Right now the thought process is I spends hours (and I mean days, weeks etc) coding in SMM fixing issues and adding new features. I feel I have been very good at addressing fixing issues and sometimes go way beyond adding enhancements (I don't use most of them). I don't want/need another application/plugin to keep up on top of that. Coding for sagetv is just a hobby and I don't want it to overtake me in any way shape or form.

So as of right now PloxeeTV is dead and I am considering, thinking, trying options on where I want to go next if anywhere.

This statement does not pertain to SMM just PloxeeTV.

Cheers

pluckyhd

Plucky,

As one voice (of many I am sure), I understand & support your decision 100% to back-off from Ploxee development. The work you've done (and continue to do) is truly amazing, and your contribution to SageTV & the community is massive. I don't believe anyone would ever begrudge your decision not to engage in anymore development projects. If you ask me, such heavy development work is squarely SageTV's responsibility. Let them do it on their dime - life is too short! Once again, thank you sooo much for SMM, and for staying with it and us. SMM puts my home theatre rig "over the top" and it's more than enough!!!

All the best.
