SageTv Video menu

I just added an MP4 Movie into my Collection. I want to see it under DVD's in the Video Menu, but do not. I can find it under Folder or the Title selection. What am I not doing correctly?

It isn't a file format that is recognized as being a DVD, so it isn't shown in the DVD view. See Appendix I in the PDF manual.

Thanks for the info. I can see the mp4's in the folders and the titles headings and they play fine. So I would have movies under DVD (vob)and movies under Folders( MP4). Too bad they can't be combined.

Actually, "Folders" view should show everything, just like browsing folders from your filesystem (e.g. Windows). It's the "Titles" view that shows single file videos only (e.g. *.mkv, *.avi, *.mp4). And of course, the "DVD" and "BluRay" views show DVD or BluRay rips that are in folder structure format.

I suspect that most people that use the standard Sage interface end up using the "Folders" view, so they can see all their imported movies in one place. Otherwise, there are some plugins/imports available that can present alternate views for the video library.
