Video Menu Options instead of Menu Options in SageMC

If reading a post that contains a question that may have been asked before bothers you, I'd stop at this point!

I have done numerous searches and haven't found an answer yet. I downloaded the latest trial version of SageTv. I am looking to replace the ever frustrating Media Portal. I'd like to import a menu layout but hitting ESC or right clicking in the menus only gives me the "Video Menu Options" and I don't see any option to import a layout?

Am I doing something wrong, e.g. keystroke, etc.

The options command works as you describe in the default STV.

Are you trying to load a custom interface (STV), or are you just trying to customize a menu?

Loading a new STV is done in the Detailed Setup -> Advance menu.

If you are looking for the Dyanamic Menu System, see the customizations foruum. There is a sticky topic thre listing available customizations & it will have a link to the dynamic menu system.

Thank you for the reply, I downloaded the SageMC theme, installed it and it mentioned going into the option menu to import its .layout file.

Do I need the dynamic menu system to get that import option?

SageMC has its own dynamic menu system built in. I'm not a SageMC user so I can't be more specific than that. But if you post in the Customizations forum and mention SageMC in the thread title, the SageMC folks will be more likely to notice and respond.

Thanks for moving the thread. I gave up and just reinstalled everything, that seemed to fix the problem!
