Can SageTV deinterlace a 720x480 DV AVI file?
I have a video file format which SageTV Media Center v7.0.16 plays but does not deinterlace so it looks similar to the attached picture when there's a lot of motion.
When played on my HD200 in extender mode it also does not deinterlace. If standalone mode is used then no video appears however the audio does play. I'm most interested in getting the extender mode to work though. The videos were created from Mini-DV tapes transferred over firewire using WinDV to save them in AVI Type 2 format. The video was shot in 720x480i mode. SageTV reports its format as: AVI[DVVIDEO 480p@30fps, PCM_S16LE/1536Kbps@48kHz Stereo] and it is sent to my TV as 480p without being deinterlaced. This is not an HD or SD format since the frames are wider than 4x3 but narrower than 16x9. Can SageTV be configured to play these files as deinterlace 480p or deinterlaced 1080p?
