No AVI file playback w/ SageTV Client 6.6
Any advice on how to get Sage for MAC to play AVI files? I believe the codec is divx, but I am really not sure. mkv's playback fine, but AVI files simply show a black screen. VLC plays them. Any way to set sage to use the VLC codecs? I have a MacBook Pro.

The easiest way I have found is to first install divx. Just goto their website and install the free divx player for mac which should then install the proper codecs (should be version 7 I believe). After that, restart sage, and try playing your avi file. it should work. Good luck.
