Will XBMC interfere with SageTV?

I've been thinking about using my old HTPC in my bedroom instead of buying another Extender. In each movie folder there is: The video file, the SageTV (BMT) metadata, MyMovies metadata for SMM, and coverart for SageTV from MyMovies. I want to install XBMC on my HTPC but want to make sure that XBMC won't interfere with anything SageTV related. I'm thinking it won't but want to make sure. Should be very easy to setup considering I can export all 1700 of my movies metadata from MyMovies Collection Manager (hopefully). That's my other question; If I export the metadata for XBMC from MyMovies, will it overwrite my current metadata, or just add an addition file for it?

MyMovie works as a metadata for xbmc by default if you have the points so it won't interfere with anything here. This post is in the wrong thread though btw

Also remember you can use the xbmc ui in sagetv although the mymovies part will not work.
