sage + netflix official stance

I'm just wondering what's the official company stance on adding netflix to the hd200 media player... i see a lot of media players have this ability built in the latest was a viewsonic

is it that sage does not want to do this or netflix is not compatible with sage os

thank you for your answers

I think the official stance you'll find here is that this is a user to user forum where SageTV sometimes will comment. If you want the "official" stance, you should send your question in via email.

I can't speak for Sage, but I imagine their stance on this, as on most things, is that they'll consider it when and if it seems feasible and as development resources permit, and until then they make no promises one way or another.

My guess is that if they ever do implement native Netflix support, we'll find out about it the day it appears in a beta, and not before.

I think the thing holding us back from official netflix support is netflix not sage. I've actually considered asking netflix what their stance on an official plugin for us. I think I may do that now...
