Poster view and info screen question

First of all, thank you and great work!

In poster view the poster images aren't showing up. See image below.


All other views show all images as expected. Last night no poster images where there, but this morning there were 10 poster images that started to appear. (out of 705 titles)


My other question was: When I press "info" on the focused title it brings up the info screen displaying the summary and a number of other options such as details, cast, trailer, similar and exit. Are these suppose to work or are they not completed yet?

Posters require MyMovies points we didn't think it did but it appears it does require 500 points without those points you won't get the posters. (this are posters not covers).

The info view is not done and not expected to be done for some time.

I just got the trial 2500 points yesterday. I thought I had all the images that I could get. I know covers and backdrops are different, but are posters a 3rd image that can be downloaded or are they covers resized?

Also, one more thing I'm seeing. While in Options>Quickfilters when I arrow left to go back to the option list it brings me all the way out of options. This seems to be the only one that does this.

1. This is a known issue and is addressed in the next build and yes Posters are the actually movie advertisement posters not covers resized.

2. This is also on the known issue list and is fixed in the next build.

176 Movies ripped and SMM is working fantastically for me at present so

One issue I have noticed is that the backdrops (posters) have stopped appearing in the backgroup on the COVERVIEW option. I have 500 points and so this is puzzling as it did work very well. I am still on version 7.0.12 of SageTV and using latest beta firmware on my HD200.

Also, I downloaded the Genre backdrops and placed them into the GENRE folder under the MyMovies data folder on my WHS; These have never appeared. Do I need a special setting to make this work.

Coincidentally, I just restarted Sage and mymovies has now started downloading posters as I type this.

Check under custom-->> and make sure backgrounds are on and fade is up all the way. Also check your fade in delay setting.

I do remember fiddling with the fade and customisation options so maybe this is the issue. Will let you know.

I seem to recall that not all the Information screens work at present on MyMovies. If you click the info button on any movie in the wall, you get the synopsis but if you navigate through the menu onto cast etc none of these screens work at present.

Is this by design for future release or do I have an issue with my setup?

I have checked the custom option settings and now I am confused.

DelayFadeOut is OFF
Backgrounds are ON
Background Fade is 255
FadeInDelay is 500
FadePostersIn is ON

But no posters.

How do I reset all my settings to DEFAULT? Might be a quicker fix as it used to work.

I have just updates to the latest version running on 7.0.15 but this did not resolve the issue on Coverflow View.

I checked MyMovies contributions and I have 506 so this is still good also.

Is there anything in the backdrop folder?(mymoviesshare\backdrops\)

I know it's a bit off topic, but I really like the poster view because it displays the fan art (I think?) above the title description.

What I would LOVE is a slightly different view showing the covers instead of the posters on the left, and keep the right as it is (i.e., fan art and title). My main reason for this request is that I can't really make out the fan art in the wall view or the side by side view (because it's mostly 'covered' by the covers), so this would be a great option IMHO.

Is there a way to select this view in MMS somewhere (I'm not sure I have tried all the options yet)? If not, would I need to add a custom view to create this specific view?

In Poster view if I disable "full wall" the option for "Scrolling" disappears and I'm only left with the ability to scroll horizontally. Is this meant to be this way?

Firstly you mean WallView not PosterView please try and report correctly when you find errors.

And yes only vertical scrolling is available when full wall is off as horizontal wouldn't flow right.

I was in Poster View. However, what I experienced I cannot reproduce at the moment. What I saw on my screen was a kind of hybrid between wall view and poster view. I know I sound crazy but that is what I saw. I was in Poster view and started playing around with the custom settings. It morphed into something like wall view with "full wall" disable and "more posters" disable, along with the info panel on the right that comes up in the poster view. The wall of cover/posters would scroll horizontally under that info panel.

Anyway.. I've since restarted everything and I haven't seen this since. I'm not crazy.. I swear.

I Kind of reproduced what I was talking about, except a little worse. Instead of 3 rows there is one large stretched row and they scroll right under the info panel. This is in Poster view.


I also had other corrupt screens. multiple restarts and they seem to have subsided for now.

Interesting never seen that issue, but unfortunetly without some logs I can't debug it screenshots don't help much in debugging.

Okay further to this

the big poster ones do those just show when switching views and then go away? If so I see that sometimes and it has to do with sage switching views but can't determine what I am doing to cause that.

The other one I think I might know what is causing that but need to see some logs if you reproduce it again send me the mymovies logs and let me know what time it occured.
