I also tried rebooting the machine several times...no luck. I am really baffled, as the first entry (Classics) works perfectly, and I could not break it even using syntax that was not at all like the ways explained in the WIKI. I am not complaining here....just looking for an answer. Everything else is working great! Thank you very much for all of your hard work and attention to questions and concerns. |

Ok, I finally got it working...here is what I have found:
For some reason unknown to me the shares are getting corrupted in SageTV. For example, my shares were set up as: \\Tower1\Classics (which contains 140 movies) \\Tower1\MOB (which contains 60 movies) This matched the import directories I used in MM Collection Manager. This worked great for about 2 days. Then during the time I was trying to figure out this problem with the folders, just by chance I tried launching a movie once again and I got an error message saying that my directories in SageTV did not match the directories from the database (I don't remember the exact wording of the error message), so I took a look at the SageTV media import directories and found that they had reverted to an old share that I had deleted a long time ago: \\HTPC\Classics and that was the only share listed. So I deleted that share and entered the new shares again: \\Tower1\Classics \\Tower1\MOB The movies still would not launch, but I did not get any error messages, though the movies launched fine from SageTV's "Videos" and/or "Folders" tabs. So then I went to MMCM and re-imported all of my data once again, and now EVERYTHING is working fine, including the missing "MOB" folder. So, the only thing I can conclude (and please correct me if I am wrong) is that the SageTV shares were corrupted before I tried setting up the folders, as "Classics" was still a valid path even with the wrong shares in effect. Does this make sense? The part that really worries me is the fact that my shares changed without me expressly changing them myself. What the heck caused SageTV to reinstall an old, deleted share in place of the 2 new shares I had so carefully and diligently set up? Maybe I have some old pieces of a botched installation hanging around giving me grief? Anyway, I just hope that this information might help someone else who is having trouble getting the folders to appear. |

Glad you got it working. That definitely would have caused issues. Cant think what would have caused that issue though a bit wired I have never had sagetv change my paths.
