6.2.5 'back' can get stuck...

With the icon bar allowing you to switch from one view to another (eg, main menu->impvid->recordings->schedule->search->detailed info->future airings->recordings->impvid->etc...) it is very very easy to fill up the menu history to such an extent that back does not always go back to the main menu, and gets you stuck at some level in the history.

(you could always do this before by, eg, pressing the Recordings command 10 times, but it was less likely)

A workaround would be, if at the beginning of the history, and not at the main menu, and Back is pressed, then go back to the main menu...

Yes, I got stuck last night...and I don't even think my history was that big.

In the future, it will probably jump to the Main Menu if you reach the start of history & try to go back again.

As Niel mentioned, the history is limited to the last 10 menus. I think there is a property to increase that, but then you run into more memory usage & so on.

I think that would be great. On a sidenote using SageMC, I was watching a recorded show the other night. I deleted it when it was done, then when I hit back twice (once to go to the recorded menu, second to go back to the mytv) it went into liveTV. I had not watched any liveTV at all. Any ideas why that would happen?

You would have to check in the SageMC topic, since it is up to the STV to deal with handling Back & media playback in that situation.
