Equalize sound from all sources
Before I start I understand QAM HD programs broadcasting in 5.1 the overall sound will be perceived as lower than with SD stereo broadcasts.
Is there a way to equalize the audio (volume) between tuners especially on the HD200? Ccomputer clients also exhibit this but not as much of a problem. Cable input only, no boxes. I use HDMI output to the HDMI input of the 5.1 AV amp. I get good 5.1 sound and even the SD stereo recordings have good channel separation. Jim

it has to do with digital broadcasting often using AC3 sound, which is lower than the sound in that analog SD recordings. on the clients, I use AC3filter to increase the gain for AC3 sound, but don't know of a way to do that with the extenders.
