Error on HVR-1600= -2,0x8000405
This just started up with my setup. Using SageTV via service with 2 extenders. On the latest 7 beta. All of a sudden my two cards (HVR-1600), the digital tuners show an error when trying to record/watch TV - it will not tune in any channels.
The error i get is "there was a capture error in playback - error -2,0x8000405. There was a problem using a sagetv component. Reinstall sagetv application" I have reinstalled and also reinstalled the drivers on the card. Tried to rescan on the tuner, but it did not pick up any channels. I am on Windows 7, and it has been fine until this just started acting up. Not sure if Sage or Win7 issue. Thanks for any help. |

If this is for QAM, did you try using the DLL patch in the v7.0.12 sticky at the top of this forum?

edit - i am now running off the server, not the extender. And it does not matter if i am viewing, it will throw up a capture error. Last edited by sabre; 07-26-2010 at 09:06 PM. |
