need to delay start & stop time by only 20 seconds

Been finding all start/stop times are off by less than a minute.
Most of the time in one direction.
I do sync but wonder if there is just an adjustment of just a little.
Thanks,
Ray

in reality, that is about as close as you are going to get it. YOur server is time-synced to a time server somewhere so it is within a second of being spot-on, but the broadcasters don't worry about being that exact on their programming. But if you see that everything is off by 20-30 seconds, you can look into having your PC's clock offset by 30 seconds, to see if that would cover it. I have seen "atomic clock" programs that give you the option of offsetting your PC time a set difference from the time server that it queries.

If you mainly use Favorites to record then you can use the Favorites Settings to set it to start 1 min early and end one min early or vice-versa.

The real problem is that SageTV takes so long to change channels on HD-PVR! I think I read there is an update or beta update for that reason. Will search.
I am just so happy I can get HD-PVR finally working all the time and got XMLTV importer working based on type of equipment source not just channel.
Thanks all.
