I would love to see this happen! Jeff or Andy want to consider???

Youtube and Google videos are both broken for me.

I'd love to see Online Video broken out as well. Then perhaps we can create a menu structure that makes sense. Right now there are far too many layers every where.

Brent, can you contact them by other means? They may not see you post.

This is a great idea evil. (even though I don't exactly know what it means)

Same problem on Sage 7, just updated to 7.0.12 to try to alleviate with no dice.

It was working last week; hadn't checked since then thanks to Comic-Con (I actually tried Online Videos tonight to show off my SDCC vids )

YouTube videos still not working with the same error. Google videos that aren't based on YouTube seem to work. No big deal, but it's funny that some people don't seem to have this problem. If you can still see YouTube videos on your STV install, please post and let us know. Thanks.

Based on all the above posts, it is obvious there is an issue playing YouTube videos, so more reports of it not working aren't needed.

YouTube videos should now play on the HD200 using the new 20100730-0 beta firmware, when using the HD200 in standalone mode, not as an extender connected to a SageTV server. The next v7 beta will fix it in SageTV.

Now we are talking! Best idea yet!

I will be very disappointed if this YouTube problem is not fixed for v6. Dropping support for a version BEFORE the new version is officially released would be really bad form.

Thanks Andy! HD-200 update works well. I've very much appreciated the prompt response whenever Youtube/Google change how they serve their online videos.

Any idea of when the next beta is being released?

Thanks...

The v6.6.2 update has been created:

Downloadable Update: STV v6.6.2.25, 2010080201

That update includes the required STV and online video properties file changes.

Well, no, that's one of the things the new v7 beta is for.
