Stupid ? (How to delete TV Recording?)

I am using a Media Center remote, where in the UI do you delete a TV show?

Under Videos, All Recordings option, you should see your list of recorded TV programs.

Use the 'select' button in the middle of your cursor pad (which I think is the same on the media center and Sage TV remotes from memory) and you should be presented with a list of options from 'Watch to Delete this recording'.

Choose the delete option. In V7 occasionally, I do not see the delete option in this dialogue which may be a bug or, more likely something to do with the settings on the recording (i.e not watched or something similar); I am relatively new to Sage 7 but this has worked for me.

If a recording is set as "archived" (under advanced options) it is by default not deletable.

Uncheck archived, then delte should show up as an option.

No, the only time the Delete option isn't available for a recording is when it is currently recording.

You can also assign the Delete command to a button on a remote & use that as a shortcut.
