Sage V7 All my sage recordings showing up in imports

As the title states, all the files in my recording Dir are showing up in my Imports Dir also. Can't figure out why....

You probably have an import directory pointed at your recording directory; and likely it uses a different type of path (UNC instead of standard file path) so it doens't realize they're both the same file.

The only Import directory I have configured currently is a local drive, H:\


And the only Recording directory I have configured is a network share, \\storage\F

...

edit: tried removing the import directory in sage, and removing the recording directory in sage. re-added them in. they are fine until a scan is done of the import directory, and then it brings in all the recordings from the recording dir \\storage\F.

is there a way around this, or am I doing something wrong?

Check the detailed info through your recordings and through your imported videos to see what the path is being reported as. If the paths are both the same; then my guess would be you're using some plugin that's causing this. Try disabling all of your plugins to see if that fixes it.

Hi Jeff,

The paths are correct but I have another possible reason (I think). The drive with the recordings on it has both old and new recordings. Old recordings are from a previous sage install and they do not show up under sage recordings (I didn't bring the wiz.bin over). The new newer recordings do show up under sage recordings.

I have only managed to check a couple files so far, but it seems the old recordings are being imported into sage imports (those not showing up under sage recordings) and the newer recordings are in fact NOT showing up in imports.

Does that make sense? My guess is sage is only importing those not already found in it's database...
