panasonic lumix playback mov files

i 'm having a hardtime playing back my 720p mov (motion jepg) files on my hd200, so far i tried playing them through usb drive and sage tv server...

they playback fine on the computer with sage or on my laptop via placeshifter

the issue with the playback is the video plays with stuttering and audio is very out of sync

is this a file compatibility problem or hd200

sage wont convert the files it gives me an error, so if i have to convert does somone have a format?

and a way to convert them

thanks in advance

You can us Winff or MeGUI or Handbrake to convert them. They do not play correctly on my HD200 either. Not sure why but the audio cuts out and the video is not smooth. I suspect the bitrate is too high. My Lumix .mov files have a 31.2Mb/s bitrate. I have the ZS3 so I shoot pretty much all of my video in the AVCHD MTS format, which the HD200 has no problem playing.

If you use Handbrake you should convert the file to MP4 (h264). If you use WinFF you could convert to .mpg or h264. WinFF and Handbrake are the easiest to use and are freeware.
