Alternatives to DigiGuide EPG

Creating this thread to find out whether any of you has been successful to get a working EPG for the FreeSat UK channels in the UK and NOT using DigiGuide...

I see two options:
1) If you have DVB-S; the current program and next program are being transmitted in the stream itself. I have been reading on the internet that some transponders offer a full EPG. Anybody experienced with this? How to tell SageTV to use that transponder for EPG update?
2) Radiotimes EPG. Radiotimes offers free access to their database; only problem is that the format is complete incompatible with SageTV/xmltv importer.

What are you using (besides DigiGuide)?

I use Birtles grabber to get the Radio Times EPG.

Radio Times doesn't have all the channels but it has most, and the Birtles grabber works fine with Stephane's importer.

Anybody using the FreeSat EPG from the DVB-S stream itself?

This would be the best solution for me. My local (non FreeSat) provider is offering a complete 10 days EPG via DVBS only, and if I need to choose the xmltv route there are certain local channels I cannot get the EPG from via xml grabbers.
