Digiguide problems

Hi all, anyone else had issues with digiguide this weekend? I was still running 8.3 but it seemed to have stopped pulling down the updates so I took the plunge and ran the 8.4 update which also failed.
Cut a (very) long story short I seem to have issues with certain channels causing update failures and also problems if I add more than 92 channels to my list aswell. Otherwise it seems to work ok with 8.3 again now. It's a pain because I have had to be very selective with my channels for the time being.

....for the purpose of helping others this was related to my firewall/web proxy I upgraded a couple of weeks back with all it's latest patches. It uses squid and would appear something changed in the newer version that limited the file size through it. Adding an entry to iptables to force bypass for the machine running digiguide solved my problem and I was able to update all of my current channels and add new ones as required.
