v7 Video Menu Style - Need Much BIGGER Window?

One of the things I was hoping for in v7 was a BIGGER video window. I know you can select background instead of window but I think a big window would improve the look of the program guide immensely. I mean 3 times the present size.

Before Sage, the only thing I liked about the crappy UI on the Scientific Atlanta STB was the HUGE video window. Many cable and satellite interfaces have large video windows.

Sage has taken the next step by eliminating the live TV pause, recognizing perhaps there are many current and future users who value a good live TV experience. A large video window would make the product shine even more, particularly the guide. Just my opinion.

I seem to remember that xbmc replaces the backdrop menu photo with the video when playing...... ah changing the sagetv video display option to background (not window) has a nice effect with the v7 layout. It's not what your specifically asking for but a nice current option.
