HD PVR Driver Version
Anyone know what the recommended driver version is now? I know there were some workarounds built into v7 to help this dreaded device but not sure if it was designed to work best with the older one recommended in various posts or now the latest one.

Great question....I plan to stick with the older 301 version to start and then give the new one a try if I'm adventurous. Maybe someone can chime in before then!

I updated to the latest version last night. I'm happy to report that not only is it working so far but I am getting surround sound now! With the older version if I even thought about plugging in my optical cable it would crash! Lol

I am running the latest, 1.5.6.1 I think? I just grabbed the latest on the Hauppauge site, works so far but its only been 12hrs or so. See sig for specs.
