I have had issues with usb sticks - take a look at this thread:

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45094

It may not do the trick for you, but at least it is worth a try.

Thanks for the reply. Not quite the same problem, it just fails to recognise that it's plugged in.

It's in the supported list of tuners:
http://www.sagetv.com/requirements.html?sageSub=tv

So, have you tried it with any other software? It could be a bad tuner if not.

Does Windows device manager see it ? If it doesn't then Sage won't. If it does, does WinTV see it ? etc

I've got this tuner, works fine for me. What version of Sage ?

The Hauppauge drivers are be a bit picky, try running hcwclear.exe and then re-installing the drivers. Also check you're on the latest Sage release (Can't remember when DVB-T support came in, but it wasn't there when I started using Sage)

They are an American company with a user base predominantly in the US. The DVB-T signal provides a limited EPG over the air. Otherwise you'll need to set up an XMLTV grabber. There is a sticky on it in the UK forum, if you're not in the UK try asking in the forum the country/area you are in

That is not my impression. The size of the show description differs depending on how far away in the future the show is aired - the closer to 'now' the better the description.

My experience with Hauppauge drivers is also that it is easier to get the installation wrong than right but the mentioned tool hcwclear does however do a good job of allowing you to 'start from scratch'. Be aware that it may affect tuners from other providers as well though.

Well that depends on the eye of the beholder I guess... I did also have some issues installing tuners and getting everything to work - but once it does work, oh boy, you'll never want to go back to 'normal television' again!

I wanted something a bit better than WinTV, Media Center is good apart from the dvr-ms files are a pain to edit.
