Direct Sound:Nvidia High Def Audio quit...
working over night (Audio Renderer).
Hi everyone. This morning I got up to find the above not working any longer (no sound). If I switch to the regular Nvidia High Def Audio I have sound again. What happened? I use the Direct Sound choice because audio/video sync is much better. Reinstalled the Video Drivers/software (EVGA GT220) since my card has HDMI, which I'm using. Still no go. What would cause this to simply stop working? SageTV 6.6 WinXP SP3 Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Mobo 2GB DDr2 E8400 CPU EVGA GeForce GT220 Video Card. Using the HDMI (to 46" LCD TV) and VGA ouput (to 15" LCD, for doing Windows work). Nvidia Pure Video Any help is greatly appreciated.
