Record both High Def and Standard Def

Is there a way to set up a favorite (or two favorites or the same same show) to record both high def and standard def? For example, the show "24" plays in my area on Monday's at 9pm in standard definition on channel 4 and on channel 27 in high definition.

I'd like to record both shows as I need the standard definition to convert to my Archos player in case I miss the show an need to watch it on the road.

Thanks,

-Kevin

You should be able to set up two favorites and specify a different channel for each of them. I know I've recorded both before by manually doing it, but I have no reason to think that two favorites with different channels wouldn't work..

Jim,

I tried setting up two favorites each recording to specific channels; one HD, and the other SD. However, SageTV only schedules and records one of the shows. So, no luck. Evidently, it considers them duplicates, and just records one.

The only way I've been able to record both shows is to record one as a favorite, and the other as a manual recording.

Perhaps somebody else has found a simplier way.
