Possible to share epg logo's?
I'm suprised nobody's asked this before, but a search didn't throw up any results, so here goes.
Is it possible to share the channel logo folder on the server, and have client machine's use the same folder? I've tried editing the client properties file so that the channel logo folder was listed as the server's network folder but that didn't work. e.g. epg/logo_dir=\\SAGE-SERVER\Sage install folder\SageTV\ChannelLogos I have noticed that the standard setting has double backslashes. where there is normally single backslashes. For instance, my folder is located at:- C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\ChannelLogos However sage.properties lists it as epg/logo_dir=C\:\\Program Files\\SageTV\\SageTV\\ChannelLogos Is this where I'm going wrong? Perhaps it isn't even possible, but it would be really handy if it was. Thanks in advance John

never tried it with channel logos but yes that's where you are going wrong. \ is a special character in java so if you truly want \ in the string you need to escape it with a \... hence why there are double slashies in pathes....

So does that mean that I need to try
epg/logo_dir=\\SAGE-SERVER\\Sage install folder\\SageTV\\ChannelLogos or epg/logo_dir=\\\\SAGE-SERVER\\Sage install folder\\SageTV\\ChannelLogos Well, I suppose trying both won't hurt Thanks for that, I'll let you know how I get on
