USB-UIRT setup on Windows 7
I'm getting back into SageTV with a 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate computer, USB-UIRT, and Hauppauge HD PVR.
I have the HD PVR sending signal through to SageTV, but I can't get my source set up properly. It seems like SageTV is not saving my .ir file once I set up my source. I can't find the file anywhere, and when I go in to make changes, the fields for digits per channel, delay between codes, IR blaster repeat factor, etc., are all blank. Even if I add a number in there, it just stays blank. I've also tried modifying the Motorola2000 setting or whatever it's called that comes with SageTV. That doesn't work either, presumably because I can't reset the repeatfactor down to 0 even though it LOOKS like it's set in the setup interface. I believe I currently have UAC off, although I don't really have anything against it. I also gave full read/write to the SageTV directory for my Users group, and moved my SageTV data from Users/andrew/AppData/Roaming so I thought that would be enough. I've tried using the SageTV service, as well as just running it as my user. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, I'd appreciate some pointers. Thanks, - Andrew. Resolved.
This issue is resolved.
I had originally set up my SageTV service to run as a separate user (sagetv). That user didn't have administrator rights. I just set up the SageTV service to use my personal login that has admin rights. I reran the source configuration, and everything seems to be working fine now. |
