Anyone have experience with the Kodak Theatre HD Player for an extender?

That's not possible, man. Your only option are Sage extenders.

While it might be possible to play files that SageTV recorded, there would be no real interaction with the SageTV system. So no way to browse favorites, schedule recordings, see the guide, delete watched shows correctly, etc, etc, etc.
