One STB two tuners

I dont think this is possible, and I didnt know if the hardware support section was the right place. Anyway I have an hdpvr hooked up to my stb fios, and it freezes about once a week. I found out a few days ago by luck that firewire is active on certain channels when the component ports are being used (ie the hdpvr).

Is there a way to have it so I can recorded the non 5c encrypted channels on firewire and turn of the hdpvr so it wont tune another station(using the same stb), but if the firewire isnt currently active then we can use the hdpvr to get the 5c channels? Does this make sense? In essence I am pairing up the two tuners firewire and hdpvr to act as one.

Thanks in advance.

Simply put: No.

The key here is to get the HDPVR to be stable and then there would be no need for the Firewire at all.
