New Channel on Lineup - auto added to Guide - I don't like it

I can not find a thread that addresses disabling auto channel adding to the Guide. I don't like new channels being automatically added to the Guide.

When a new channel is added it automatically appears in the Guide as a new channel. I have a Dish Network service package and the new channels do not work. But the SageTV software automatically addes the new channel to the Program Guide. This would be nice if every new channel worked for my service package. To remove the new channel I have to manually edit the "Channel Setup" or by view the "System Messages". It is a pain having to constantly check and remove new channels.

Is there a setting where I can disable the systems ability to automatically add new channels to the System Guide???? I can not find it, if it exists.

Here is another -major- problem it causes for my wife and kids.
On multiple occasions the system has automatically added Adult channels to the System Guide. The Adult channels do not work, but it shows the channel and all the program names for that channel. The names alone are upsetting to my wife and kids. For this reason alone I need a way to keep new channels from automatically being added.

I figured there was a way, SageTV can do everything.
I just was not seeing it even after looking throught the Details Setup pages multiple times.

It is also found it on page 166 of the PDF manual ver6.6

I just pop up the system message, click on it, and it gives you an option to disable the channel. That way I know a new channel has been added, but can click on disable if I dont subscribe to it, or dont want it.
