How Are First Run Recordings Stored?

I have two separate favorites for Law & Order in my system. One is for first run shows, and the other is for repeats. What I want to achieve is a situation where Sage keeps the most recent 16 repeats, but an unlimited number of first run recordings.

However, it seems like both sets of recordings are being stored under one "entry", and that the "no more than 16 recordings" is being applied to that entry. Which means my first run recordings are scrolling off

Has anyone tried to set up this kind of schizoid favorite? If so, how did you do it?

Have you tried setting the first runs to "keep until I delete"? I think that would help you troubleshoot what's happening. If Sage sets the reruns the same way, you know that it's not treating them as separate items.

I've set the favorite to "require manual deletion" (i.e., I've turned automatic deletion off). I presume that's what you meant?
