Blinking Video: Must hit Stop-Restart to Play

My SageTV has started exhibiting a strange behavior. When I start a recording playback the video is blank or blinking on/off with no audio and it looks paused.

The only way to get it to start is to hit Stop-Restart.

Not that big of a problem but it's getting annoying. It started happending about a week ago. I haven't done anything to my SageTV server since late 2009 so there's no way I changed anything.

So I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this and if so what did you do about it?

BTW, it happens on my HD100 and Both HD200s

My HD100 is doing this same sort of thing tonight. Its recording from DirecTv with a HDPVR, and Im watching it about 15 minutes behind live. About 5 times now, the picture and audio has frozen, then jumped about 10 seconds ahead, acted like it was in fast forward, and finally started playing in real time. Other times, it will do this and when it starts playing, the audio and video are about a second out of sync, and I have to Skip Back 30 seconds, and it resyncs. Im thinking its actually being caused by glitches in the recording. Cant really tell tho.

FIXED!

I figured out that one of my (3) recording hard drives was reporting a glitch. Windows was recommending I run "chkdsk". Instead I just reformatted that drive and the blinking start glitch is now resolved.

Weird.
