Where Are Downloaded YouTube Videos Stored?
I downloaded (press record while they are playing) a couple of YouTube videos while I was playing them on STV. No idea where they are stored, though. Any ideas? Thanks.

As far as I recall it just picks an import drive as davelnr has pointed out. The name of the file is based on the title of the video.

Thanks for the tip. The YouTube folder was in one of my Media Center Import Directories.

Folder View...
Folks - I have a question related to this... I h ave my video menu set to Folder View, "Folder Style" Combined, and "TV Recordings in Import Directories are: Imports.
Oddly - The folder view contains everything indepently in each folder as expected, EXCEPT for the YouTube folder Sage created. Those items show up on the main screen (with all the other folders) outside of the YouTube folder. If I switch to the Individual View, the YouTube items stay inside the YouTube folder, but then I have multiple drive instances to deal with. It doesn't seem like it should work this way - I would expect the YouTube items to stay in the YouTube folder with Folder/Combined view... I looked and see no other settings to tweak.. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Sage 7.0.23.246 STV 2011011701. Thanks! |
